Sara Robinson

Marketing, Communication, and Partnership Development Committee Co-Chair

Sara Robinson serves as Supervisor for the Harrison-Marion Parents as Teachers program in Clarksburg, West Virginia, where she has spent nearly a decade supporting families through home visitation and early childhood education. Since joining the program in 2016, Sara has worked passionately to empower parents as their child’s first and most important teacher.

Sara holds a Regents Bachelor of Arts degree with a minor in Sociology from Fairmont State University, where she is currently completing her Master of Business Administration. Her education and leadership experience have strengthened her passion for helping families and communities grow through connection, compassion, and opportunity.

Sara is a certified trainer for West Virginia’s Making a Difference: Mandate to Report program, reflecting her expertise in child protection and dedication to educating others on mandated reporting responsibilities. A Certified Car Seat Safety Technician and an endorsed professional through the Infant-Toddler Mental Health Association, se is deeply committed to child safety and emotional well-being.

Sara is especially excited to join the Inspiring Dreams Network because she believes deeply in the power of community collaboration to create real, lasting change. She looks forward to sharing her experience in family support and program leadership to help strengthen partnerships, expand outreach efforts, and inspire hope and opportunity for children and families across West Virginia.

A devoted single mother, Sara draws her greatest inspiration from her two teenage children. Her son currently works with UPS in Clarksburg as he explores his career path, while her daughter recently began her studies at West Virginia University, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

In her free time, Sara enjoys amateur photography, crocheting, tending to her houseplants, watching true crime documentaries, and spending time with her dog, June. A proud supporter of college athletics—especially West Virginia University basketball and football—Sara credits her father, a lifelong Boys and Girls Club supporter and former local union president, for inspiring her enduring commitment to service and community leadership.
